Wind was rather gusty today with some long lulls. Played around in the light wind catching the odd gust which poved to be very tiresome. Wind wind did eventually come through for some decent runs. Sailed with a new carbon boom (pryde X9) and it is true that you get what you pay for. Top quality and you can really feel how stiff the boom is. It is a must have for big sails. I also had a new fin (Select Lightning)which was top notch with plenty on low wind drive and and excellent top end control. Even though it was gusty it was still a good workout.
